[← Back to Home](/) # Terms & Conditions Last updated: March 28, 2026 These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern the rental of recreational vehicles ("RV" or "Unit") provided by LODESTAR Corp. d/b/a RV We Go, a C-Corporation registered in the State of California ("Company", "we", "us"). By completing a booking, the Renter ("you", "Renter") acknowledges and agrees to the following terms. ## 1. Booking & Confirmation - Bookings are confirmed instantly when dates are available. Calendar is updated in real-time. - Your card is charged upon booking confirmation. - A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. - **Minimum rental period: 2 nights.** - 50% deposit option available — remaining balance due 7 days before pickup. ## 2. Driver Requirements - Must be **25 years or older**. - Valid, unexpired driver's license (regular — no CDL required). - International visitors: valid foreign license accepted; International Driving Permit (IDP) recommended. - License must be presented at pickup. Failure to present a valid license will result in cancellation with no refund. - Only the Renter and pre-approved Authorized Drivers may operate the RV. ## 3. Pricing & Fees - All prices are in USD and listed per night. - **125 miles per day** included; extra miles charged at **$0.50/mile**. - Unlimited Miles add-on available at booking. - Cleaning fee applies per rental (non-refundable). Protection Plans & Security Deposit PlanCostDeductibleSecurity Deposit **Standard**5% of rental$2,500$1,000 (refundable) **Premium**10% of rental$0$1,000 (refundable) No Protection$0Full cost of damages$5,000 (refundable) ### Security Deposit & Damages - The security deposit will be refunded after post-trip inspection, provided no damages, excessive cleaning, or violations occurred. - Refunds are generally processed within **72 hours** but may take up to 30 days. - If damages exceed the security deposit, Renter authorizes RV We Go to charge the card or payment method on file for the full balance owed, including fees. - Renter is responsible for all damages not covered by the selected Protection Plan. ## 5. Pickup & Return - Vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time. - **Late returns:** charged at the daily rate + $50 late fee per hour (up to 4 hours). Returns more than 4 hours late will be charged an additional full day rate. - Vehicle must be returned in the same clean, working condition as received. Normal wear and tear excepted. - **Fuel:** RV is provided with a full tank. Return with a full tank or a $5/gallon fuel fee applies. - **Propane:** included for trips of 3+ nights. Must be returned at same level or replacement fee applies. ## 7. Delivery Service - **Pickup near LAX:** Complimentary Cadillac Escalade pickup from airport. - **Delivery:** $5/mile (road distance), up to 120 miles from LAX. - Popular delivery destinations: Joshua Tree, Coachella, San Diego, Las Vegas area. ## 8. Cleaning & Condition of RV Unit - A standard non-refundable Cleaning Fee applies for preparing and sanitizing the unit prior to each rental, including basic cleaning and supply restocking. - **Excessive cleaning** (beyond 2–3 hours) will be charged at **$40/hour**, deducted from the security deposit or billed separately. - Renter must return the RV in the same clean, working condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted. ## 9. Vehicle Rules & Restrictions ### 🚭 Smoking & Vaping Smoking or vaping of any kind (including tobacco, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, and drugs) is **strictly prohibited** inside the RV. ⚠️ Violation: $1,500 deep cleaning fee. No exceptions. ### 🐾 Pets - Dogs require **prior written approval**. RV We Go reserves the right to decline any pet. - Evidence of pet damage (including urine, feces, or odor) results in forfeiture of the deposit and additional charges if needed. - Excessive pet hair will result in a Deep Cleaning Fee at market rate. - Cats and other animals are not permitted. ### 🔑 Keys & Lockouts - **Lost keys:** $200 replacement fee. - **Lockouts:** Renter is responsible for locksmith charges plus a $50 service fee. ### ⚡ Generators - Generator use without prior approval from RV We Go is prohibited unless the Unlimited Generator add-on is purchased. - Improper generator use may cause severe electrical damage, for which the Renter assumes all financial responsibility. - The generator must be returned in the same condition as received. - Renter is responsible for fuel, operation, and replacement if lost or stolen. - Generators must be operated outdoors only. ### 🚫 Rooftop Access Accessing or walking on the RV roof is **strictly prohibited**. Evidence of rooftop use will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. If damages exceed the deposit, Renter remains fully liable for repair costs. ⚠️ Rooftop damage: up to $2,000+ in repairs. ### 🏕️ Awnings - The RV's exterior awning may be used with caution. - Awnings are **not covered by insurance** and are very costly to repair or replace. - Any awning damage — including damage from driving, acts of nature, or negligence — is the sole responsibility of the Renter and may exceed the security deposit. - **Always retract the awning before driving and during windy conditions.** ### 🚿 Waste Tanks - Only **RV-safe toilet paper** (provided) may be used in the black water tank. - Do not dispose of wipes, diapers, feminine products, tissues, or other items — they cause clogs requiring costly cleaning/repairs. - The gray water tank is for sink and shower water only — no food particles or waste. ⚠️ Tank clog repair: $300–$800 charged to Renter. ### Additional Rules - **No towing** unless pre-approved in writing. - **No off-road driving.** RV must stay on paved or maintained gravel roads. - **No tailgating events.** - Festival use (Burning Man, Coachella, etc.) is **permitted** — we're festival veterans. - Maximum occupancy must not exceed the RV's rated sleeping capacity. - Renter is responsible for all **traffic violations, toll charges, and parking citations** during the rental period. - **Card on file:** By completing a booking, Renter authorizes RV We Go to retain the payment method on file and charge it for any unpaid balances, including but not limited to: traffic violations, toll charges, parking citations, fuel charges, excess mileage, cleaning fees, and damage repairs discovered after the rental period. Such charges may occur up to **90 days after the return date**. ## 10. Toll Roads, Traffic Violations & Administration Fees - Renter is responsible for all **toll charges, traffic violations, red light camera citations, and parking tickets** incurred during the rental period. - If RV We Go receives any toll invoice, violation, or citation on behalf of the Renter, an **administration fee of $50** will be charged per occurrence, in addition to the fine amount. - Toll invoices and violations are deducted from the security deposit or charged to the card on file. - We recommend renters use their own toll transponder or pay tolls at plazas to avoid mail-in invoices and administration fees. - Responsibility for violations is transferred to the Renter. RV We Go will provide your information to the issuing authority upon request. ## 11. Mileage - **125 miles per day** are included with every rental. - Excess miles are charged at **$0.50 per mile**, deducted from the security deposit or charged to the card on file. - **Unlimited Miles add-on** is available at booking ($35/day) — eliminates all mileage charges. - Mileage is tracked via the RV's odometer and/or GPS. Readings are recorded at pickup and return. ## 12. GPS Tracking - All RVs are equipped with **GPS tracking devices** for safety, theft prevention, and roadside assistance. - GPS devices must not be removed, disconnected, or tampered with for any reason. - Tampering with or disabling the GPS device will result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit. - GPS data may be used to verify mileage, travel routes, and compliance with travel restrictions. ## 13. Travel Restrictions - **No off-road driving.** The RV must remain on paved or maintained gravel roads at all times. Driving on unpaved roads inside licensed campgrounds/RV parks is acceptable. - **No driving to Mexico** or outside the United States without prior written approval. - Restricted areas: Death Valley (summer months June–August), Burning Man playa roads — contact us for guidance. - Violation of travel restrictions results in forfeiture of the security deposit and Renter assumes full liability for any damage. ## 14. RV Height & Clearance - RVs are significantly taller than passenger vehicles (**10–12 feet**). Renter must be aware of all low clearance signs, bridges, overpasses, gas station canopies, and drive-throughs. - **Never attempt to drive through a drive-through** — they are always too low for RVs. - Overhead damage caused by low-clearance impacts is **100% the Renter's responsibility** and will exceed the security deposit. - RV dimensions are provided at pickup and listed on each vehicle's detail page. ## 15. Early Return & No-Shows - **No refunds for early returns.** If you return the RV before the scheduled return date, the remaining days are not refundable. - **No-shows:** If Renter does not pick up the RV within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time without notice, the booking is considered a no-show and is **non-refundable**. ## 16. RV Abandonment - If for any reason the Renter abandons the RV (leaves it with no intention of returning it to the agreed return location), a **$3,000 abandonment and retrieval fee** will be charged, plus any applicable fees for damages, missing items, or keys. - Abandonment without signing return documents waives the Renter's right to dispute any claims for damages, overages, or missing items. ## 17. Drugs & Illegal Activity - Any evidence of storage, transportation, or use of **illegal substances** in the RV will result in immediate forfeiture of the entire security deposit. - RV We Go reserves the right to contact law enforcement and file a report. - Renter is solely responsible for all legal consequences. ## 18. Appliance Malfunctions - Air conditioning, heating, TV, microwave, refrigerator, water heater, and other appliances are **convenience items**. - If any malfunction occurs, contact RV We Go immediately. We will troubleshoot remotely or arrange on-site repair when possible. - **No compensation or refund** is provided for appliance malfunctions that do not prevent the RV from being habitable. ## 19. Damage Reporting & Walkthrough - A **pre-rental walkthrough** with photos/video will be completed at pickup. Both parties will sign a condition report. - A **post-rental inspection** will be completed upon return. Renter is encouraged to be present. - If the RV is returned outside of business hours or without the Renter present, Renter waives the right to dispute any damage claims documented by RV We Go. - Any damage discovered during the trip must be **reported immediately**. Do not attempt repairs without consulting RV We Go first. - In case of accident, theft, or vandalism: obtain a police report and notify RV We Go immediately. ## 20. Personal Property Renter understands that RV We Go and LODESTAR Corp. are **not responsible** for loss of, or damage to, any personal property of the Renter, Authorized Drivers, or guests, whether left in the RV or elsewhere. We strongly recommend travel insurance for valuable items. ## 21. Waiver of Liability & Release This Waiver of Liability and Release ("Waiver") is entered into by the Renter in consideration of the use of recreational vehicles provided by LODESTAR Corp. d/b/a RV We Go. By booking, Renter acknowledges and agrees to the following terms: ### Assumption of Risk Renter acknowledges that the use of an RV involves certain risks, including but not limited to accidents, property damage, personal injury, illness, or death. Renter voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the rental, operation, and use of the RV. ### Damage Responsibility Renter accepts full financial responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft of the RV, its accessories, or related equipment during the rental period, whether caused by negligence, misuse, acts of nature, or otherwise, to the extent not covered by the selected Protection Plan. ### Personal Injury & Indemnification Renter releases, waives, and forever discharges LODESTAR Corp., RV We Go, their owners, affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or actions related to: - Personal injury, illness, or death, - Damage to property, - Loss of income, inconvenience, or other damages, arising from or connected with the rental, operation, or use of the RV. Renter further agrees to **indemnify and hold harmless** LODESTAR Corp., RV We Go, their owners, affiliates, employees, and agents against any such claims made by third parties. ## 22. Insurance & Liability - Basic liability coverage is included with every rental. - Additional Protection Plans (Standard, Premium) are available at booking — see Section 4. - Renter is responsible for damages not covered by the selected Protection Plan. - Renter is liable for any deductible amount associated with insurance claims. ## 23. Governing Law & Disputes These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California. ## 24. Severability If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. ## 25. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. ## 26. Acknowledgment By completing a booking with RV We Go, Renter confirms that they: - Have read and fully understand this Agreement, - Are at least 25 years of age and legally authorized to enter this agreement, - Accept full responsibility for the RV and any consequences of its use, - Release LODESTAR Corp. d/b/a RV We Go from all liability as described above. - Authorize RV We Go to retain their payment method on file and charge it for any post-rental fees as described in Section 9. ## Contact Us Questions about these Terms?
